Treasures below the Surface
The Sea. An always changing space in direct relationship with the wind. Water moving calmly just now, then turning into wild waves. The tide changes, bringing new gifts onto the shore. What was, isn't anymore. And so our voice. A deep sea, waiting to be explored, waiting to share it's treasures.
Songs of the Sea is a year long voice journey, meant to shift and change your relationship with your voice, seeking the embodiment of your voice, intends to heal and grow through your voice, to connect you with your deeper calling through your voice and ultimately bringing your voice to the community, sharing and stepping into leadership.
It is meant for all interested in a deeper connection with life through creative expression and intends to bring through one's expression one's gifts into one's own life and to the broader community.
Besides voice, other forms of creative expression, such as intuitive writing, movement, painting and sculpting will be present to support the process. The journey is supported by myths.
weEk 1: (Re-)Connecting to your voice - 2026
The first week intends to connect you with your voice, to connect you with yourself and others through embodied singing. Exploring colours and sounds, creating relationship for the journey ahead. Seeking a new narrative for what your voice is. Seeking a new relationship with your voice. What is there to be found, what is there to connect with?
Week 2: The unsung songs of the depth - 2026
There are unknown sounds and songs stored in your body from a time that you felt they were not meant to be sang by you. Due to the collision with your experience, these sounds, your sounds, disappeared into the depth, into the deep trench. To get to know yourself more fully, we need to embark on a journey into that depth, engaging with the sounds and songs present there and find their expression (through your voice now).
Week 3: Relating inner and outer - 2026
From a deeper relationship with your inner world, we seek contact with the world around us. Engagement with wild nature through your wild voice, seeking relationship with all that lives.
Week 4: Upon shore - 2026
We start to engage with the shore, water encountering earth. Allowing interaction and evolvement within an environment. We start to weave our voice into the bigger web of life. What is there to be brought by your unique voice into the world? We intent to step more into serving from a deeper place, from a higher purpose. Inviting leadership.
